No one understand the fertility stuff..in 2 weeks..it will be an year since we got our 1st big fat positive..will i ever get over this?!? will i get my bfp again?? Im trying to help everyone and be the best wife..friend...aunt..daughter.. granddaughter..ect..i can be...I try to keep myself busy...You know i haven't cried in a long time.........haven't cried after my cycle last month..or the month before that...I think all this stuff makes me feel numb sometimes....No one understand the hormones...How one day your fine..the next day you wanna kill everyone.....Maybe sometimes i just ask to much of people?!?

i sit and wonder......

I sit and wonder if my time will ever come as a mother...This 2 week wait is killing me...iv had some symptoms of pregnancy however since im on progesterone that can give me the same symptoms! I want anything more then to be a mom..8 long years is to long on my heart..it gets to the point were nothing surprises me i don't cry anymore..i try to keep myself calm and stress free but..if you know me..im a stresser..easier said then done...i have so many options to think about...do i take a few months of again
drop another 15lbs and then start again? i do believe weight plays a factor i did get pregnant when i was at my lowest weight..i would love to join a gym i can't afford with between bills, and fertility medication, ect..and i would like to get a new vehicle but i don't see that happening anytime in the near future....

...do i stick with femera and do a few more rounds and hope for the best? insurances covered the femera so it only cost 3$ very nice on the pocket book...i didn't have any mature follies last round..but i did get a positive opk test..however..just because i got a positive opk dosent mean i actually ovulated it could mean i just had a lh surge...do i go back go gonal f shots sits my body responded to them? but yet im scared to over stimmulte and waste so much money.....do i just wait and save money and do iui and gonal f in jan...and just keep doing femera until then?
so many options i don't know what to do anymore..i wanted to be pregnant like 8yrs ago..and have like 10 kids...but heck i can't even have one...it makes you feel less of a woman..like you fail in life..you can't make your husband a dad..your father and mother grandparents or your brother or sisters aunts or uncles...ugh...life sucks sometimes.......i get sick of hearing........

1) your time will come
2) just adopt there are so many children that need familys( ok if i had the money to adopts don't you think i would have moved forward in my infertility treatments?!?)
3) take a few months off (i have many many times..it don't work)

so really...am i ment to be a mother?! or will i be an aunt forever and never get to experiences motherhood??

Will i ever be?,,,,,,,,,

Will i ever be a mom? That question no one can ever answer...but why does it hurt so much? iv been doing good...but this last couple of days my moods are horrible and i feel like life sucks...i just don't feel happy..i mean i am happy i have the most amazing husband and family ever..but i feel a piece of me is empty...also...went threw the milestone of my ""estimated due date June 10th"" now October is coming up in a few months..October 25th was the day i had my ultrasound and found out there were no babies growing and Halloween was my dread d&c..i know i shouldn't dwell on the past..and im a very strong person...but sometimes things just hurt..my heart hurts...Kind of a slap in the fast a few days ago..i went on one of my websites i have not been on since i found out i was pg last yr..and it said..your baby should be 7 weeks now..yep...i should have a baby/or/babies in my house...i should be a momma...why can't i just let it go?? i mean its dumb right?!? dumb i can't move on?  i know there are a few that understand me..and a few of you that may not...but..im trying to be strong...but all i want do is...scream and cry and just throw my hands up and be done with all the medications and doctors appt..but i can't be..because that's my only hope of becoming a mother..i don't have the money to adopt..

Watching my nephews and niece grow up has been a blessing, im so glade they are healthy and growing like weeds and that their parents allow me to be involved in there lives. I love them to the moon and back and much more........Had a family reunion today it was fun.....so many kids..and yet leo and i were the only ones with out kids......i enjoyed watching all the kids run around and play but my heart kinda hurt..but thats ok..i will go on..i will put my happy face on and everything will be ok..thas ok to live life like that right?!? well..enough of this i will write more tue after my doc appt!!

****leave you with some pictures, take a few min and look at them ****

I Wish It Didn’t Bother Me

I wish it didn’t bother me
But in the depths of my heart
and soul it does.

I long to be a mother
And to hold my child close
To pick out names
Toys and clothes

I want to show a baby
love so true and dear
To hug and kiss and cuddle with

I wish it didn’t bother me
To see all my friends and family
Being a Mommy or expecting

Going to showers
Seeing Maternity Photos
It is heart breaking to know
That I will never experience it

Yea I can adopt
But it’s really not the same.
I wish it didn’t bother me

I want to feel the kicks
I want know what it is like
People say I am lucky
But I disagree

The heartbreak one feels
Being unable to bear children
It is indescribable

I wish it didn’t bother me
But it does

To try and tell the guy you love
That you are unable to give him
Children of his own

What if he can’t handle it
He can’t accept that you’re damaged goods
What if he leaves you for a new girl
One that can give him kids

It is a cruel fate
That I wouldn’t wish
Even on my worst of enemies

Sometimes I just need to cry
I need someone to confide in
But despite their greatest efforts
They just don’t understand

I wish it didn’t bother me
But unfortunately it does

My "Due Date" June 10th 2012

Well...iv been holding off on writing this blog...just because of the fact..that the day has came and gone and my babies are up in heaven and not in my arms! I have grieved so much over the last 7 1/2 months that yesterday i felt ok, its ok to move forwards , i will be ok! Hubby and i did get 2 balloons 1 pink & 1 blue since we never made it that far to even know the gender of the babies.. and wrote on the balloons and sent them up to heaven for them to play with. I cryed when we let them go and we sat and watched them for awhile but my husbands arms were wrapped tight around me and letting me just cry.
With all the support of my family and friends it also made the day a little easier!
Thank you all so much!
Leo and I will always have a special place in our hearts for the babies!
So im just going to make the blog short and sweet!!!

Here is what was wrote on the balloons
Dear Baby
Mommy & Daddy loved you so very much

love hate doctors appt today

so Iv been doing 6 days of gonal f to get my follicles to mature. Today i had an ultra sound to see if i had any follicles growing or any mature

Right size
1) 11*11
2)13*13
Left size
1)12*10
2)12*10
3)13*10
4)13*9
5)14*11

18 and above is mature so i don't have any mature follicles but i have around 7 measureable ones
so with that said that say i over stimulated so...what they are going to have me to do..don't take anymore gonal f tonight or tomorrow (mon, tue) and go back in for an us on wed morning and see if some of the smaller ones fizzled out and the bigger ones matured..if so then hopefully i can take my ovadril shot and then timed bding and then wait for our bfp **hopefully**

but if not and alot of them grew then we will have to just cancle this cycle and start fresh next month...and i don't wanna do that what so ever...because gonal f is very very spendy!!  so i just want 2-3 mature follicles and  to make 1 or 2 babies and get my bfp and leo and i become parents..is that so hard to ask for?!?
ugh kinda frustrated...by body is dumb!!

Fri-bloodwork/hsg test

So i will get my blood work done on friday before 9am
then i have my hsg test at 1 on friday..

WHAT IS A HSG TEST?!?

Hysterosalpingogram

A hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is an X-ray test that looks at the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes and the area around them. It often is done for women who are having a hard time becoming pregnant (infertile).
During a hysterosalpingogram, a dye (contrast material) is put through a thin tube that is put through the vagina and into the uterus. Because the uterus and the fallopian tubes are hooked together, the dye will flow into the fallopian tubes. Pictures are taken using a steady beam of X-ray (fluoroscopy) as the dye passes through the uterus and fallopian tubes. The pictures can show problems such as an injury or abnormal structure of the uterus or fallopian tubes, or a blockage that would prevent an egg moving through a fallopian tube to the uterus. A blockage also could prevent sperm from moving into a fallopian tube and joining (fertilizing) an egg. A hysterosalpingogram also may find problems on the inside of the uterus that prevent a fertilized egg from attaching (implanting) to the uterine wall. See a picture of a hysterosalpingogramcamera.

Why It Is Done

A hysterosalpingogram is done to:
  • Find a blocked fallopian tube. The test often is done for a woman who is having a hard time becoming pregnant. An infection may cause severe scarring of the fallopian tubes and block the tubes, preventing pregnancy. Occasionally the dye used during a hysterosalpingogram will push through and open a blocked tube.
  • Find problems in the uterus, such as an abnormal shape or structure, an injury, polyps, fibroids, adhesions, or a foreign object in the uterus. These types of problems may cause painful menstrual periods or repeated miscarriages.
  • See whether surgery to reverse a tubal ligation has been successful.

Examples of what they are looking for

Figure 1 is an X-ray of contrast material moving normally from the uterus up through the fallopian tubes toward the ovaries. Figure 2 shows a blocked fallopian tube on one side.

So thats how things are looking...lets hope for the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i will keep everyone up dated!

Infertility and marriage

As a woman who is happily married for 7 1/2 years and Trying to conceive for almost the entire time. Infertility is very hard on a marriage! All the test, the doctors appointments the stress the disappointments!! I know things have been kind of stressed for Leo and I the last couple of weeks and alot is to do with me! The hormone shots make me moody and sick and someday im feeling great other days im so tired and feel like crap. I try my hardest and i know hes not mad but sometimes i feel like a horrible wife/spouse! Its hard sometimes i wish my body would do something right...after many fails of clomid, and 125lbs lost and then we get pregnant end up in a mc and now were on the 2 week road again....How much more can a person/couple take?

Well here are some articles i found that have great info

It’s not infertility itself that can weaken your marriage - it’s how you cope as a couple that counts.
1. Accept that it’s a lifelong process. Coping with infertility - and perhaps accepting that you’ll have a childfree life together - can take years. You won’t mourn the idea that you may never have kids once and be done with it! Rather, you may have to accept it anew when you see a pregnant friend or talk to relatives you rarely see. Keeping your marriage strong in infertility involves the realization that your sadness may be a constant companion. Your partner may never “get over it.” It may affect his/her life forever.
2. Set your boundaries. If your partner needs to talk about the IVF struggles or miscarriages more than you do, then you need to set your boundaries. Boundaries are important for strong marriages - they allow partners to communicate what they need and why. Boundaries also include compromises: if you don’t want to talk about infertility issues and your partner does, then your boundary could be a certain amount of talking time…and that’s it for the day (or week, even). This is SO dependent on what the couples’ situation and personalities - there are no set rules for keeping your marriage strong in infertility!
3. Give more than you get. This may seem contradictory to “setting your boundaries”! If both partners are giving as much as they can, then they’re building a strong marriage. But, giving all you can doesn’t mean letting your partner take advantage of you or disregard your boundaries. The more you do for your partner, the more you’ll get in return (providing your partner isn’t selfish, oblivious, or emotionally unhealthy).

A Marriage Survival Kit
Many couples who experience infertility discover that their marriage is on a survival mission—and it’s not just a training exercise! How can you and your spouse preserve your relationship—and even improve it—during this difficult time?
We recommend marriage survival kit. Make sure it contains the following items:

1 A Band-Aid
Why? Because it will remind you of an important characteristic of husbands: They like to make things feel better.
Husbands hate to see anything broken—especially their wives, who are hurt by the dashed hopes and crushed dreams that mark infertility. As one husband put it, “The most difficult part is knowing that Linda (my wife) is in so much pain.”
In our case, John hated it when Sylvia grieved over our infertility. He hated it so much that he was quick with “Band-aid” words and a quick kiss to make it better.
It will happen,” he reassured. “Don’t worry, we’re still young. We can always try again next month. Why don’t you and I go out for dinner this evening so you can get your mind off infertility? Talking about it all the time only makes you depressed. You need to start looking on the bright side of things. After all, you’ve got me, and we’re happy together! Be thankful for what you’ve got.”
Behold: Mr. Fix-it to the rescue! Like John, most husbands think it’s their God-given duty to make their wives feel better.
Unfortunately, these husbands tend to downplay the pain. Their motives may be great, but their strategy isn’t. Women suffering from infertility don’t need someone to minimize the pain; they need someone who understands it.
Husbands need to learn that they don’t have to fix the pain. They can’t! More helpful than “fixing” is simply going to your wife, putting your arms around her, and saying, “You’re really hurting today, aren’t you? I can’t make it better, but I want you to know that I love you—and when you hurt, I hurt too.”

2. A Stopwatch Wives like to talk more than their husbands do. Marriage and family therapist Philip Nienhuis says,
“Studies have indicated that in a typical day a woman will use significantly more words than her husband will use. He will be very matter of fact in stating the experiences of the day, or relating interactions with people he has met. She, on the other hand, will tend to go into much greater detail in reporting experiences or describing relationships…
Many women find it therapeutic to talk —it is a way of relieving stress. Men, on the other hand, often find that talking about an issue produces stress.”
Picture this: A husband comes home, exhausted after a challenging day. The only thing he wants to do is hibernate in front of the Monday night football game. The last thing he wants is to talk about infertility—again!
Meanwhile, his wife had a difficult day too. A woman at the office has announced an unexpected, unwanted pregnancy. Devastated by the unfairness of it all, the wife comes home and wants to talk with her husband about how this makes her feel.
What’s going to happen when these two come together for the evening? Tension, not tenderness!
Here’s where the stopwatch comes in. It can remind a couple of what has often been called the “Twenty-Minute Rule.”
As far as we can determine, Merle Bombardieri first came up with the idea in the National RESOLVE Newsletter. It’s a simple technique designed to let couples talk about infertility without allowing it to dominate the relationship. Having discussed their infertility often and in depth in the past, the couple agrees that if one of them brings up the topic, they’ll discuss it for 20 minutes and no longer. After 20 minutes they’ll move to another subject.
This is a good rule! When it’s practiced, several things happen. The wife knows she has to focus her comments clearly or she’ll miss her chance. The husband, instead of listening with one ear while the other is trying to catch the football score, concentrates on what his wife is saying because he knows it’s not going to be an all-night conversation. Best of all, they have the rest of the evening to talk about and do other things.

3. Bubble Bath and Candles For many couples undergoing infertility treatment, romance is an early casualty. Though some report that the experience draws them closer, many find it takes a toll on intimacy and spontaneity.
How can you keep your romance alive? Try little things—a love note in lipstick on the bathroom mirror, a love poem tucked into a briefcase, a night at a cozy bed-and-breakfast, a long evening walk together. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of creativity. We like the way Colleen Botsios describes a romantic evening with her husband (originally written in the book, When Empty Arms Become a Heavy Burden):
“Two years ago on Valentine’s Day, I was feeling about as low as I’d ever been. All the basic infertility workup had been completed and nothing stood out as an obvious impediment to pregnancy. But then, as always, I regrouped. It was Valentine’s Day—a time to be festive and romantic.
My husband arrived home from work about 6 P.M. And I met him in a sexy nightgown, explaining that I had a romantic evening planned. I showed him to the bathroom, which was dark except for the votive candles scattered around. The whirlpool was gurgling away in the corner, complete with coconut bubble bath and really hot water…
Somewhere in the special aura of the evening, infertility, though still close, was somehow far away from us and not so overwhelming. There was temporarily some room to cuddle and smile and laugh heartily.”
4. A Cell Phone Sometimes even the closest of couples run out of patience, hope, or energy. When the challenges of infertility tax your resources to the limit, help can be just a phone call away. Don’t hesitate to consult a counselor or pastor, even if it’s just a few sessions to get your relationship back on track.

5) PEACHES AND PLUMS Thankfully, many of us have spouses who understand and care. In such marries there’s a wonderful sense of making the journey of infertility together. Partners hurt together, pray together, and support one another as they face the challenges of infertility or miscarriage.
In these marriages, husbands accompany their wives to doctors’ appointments and are present for every procedure. They bring their wives a bouquet or arrange for dinner out on those dark days when gloom is running high and hope is running low. Husbands like that are “peaches.”
And in these marriages, wives understand their responsibility to support their husbands—especially when the husband appears to have the main medical problem. These wives know that being told by a physician, “You’re not in the major leagues in terms of sperm production or motility,” or, “I’m afraid you’re sterile,” is difficult for any man to take.
These wives know the last thing their husbands need are comments like, “I told you a long time ago you should be checked,” or, “You knew you should have been wearing boxer shorts, but you’re too stubborn.”
A husband needs a wife who, using her God-given charm and grace helps him to know that he’s still sexy, strong, and valued. Such a wife is a “plum!”
Whether your spouse has told you or not, he or she is counting on you. Your marriage can thrive—if you renew your commitment to be the wife or husband your partner needs

MOODY-STRESS-HORMONAL

I HATE all these hormone shots!! They make me so moody
for no stupid reason and they make my body feel strange...i know all this is worth it and i will do it a million times over if i have to...I just wish it was done and over and we were pregnant...Im so scared about Thursdays ultrasound..i know my blood work was fantastic yesterday but nothing ever seems to go smooth for me..i'm waiting for something bad to go wrong....or for once will something actually go right for once?! only time will tell!
I am very blessed to have a great husband...how many man would stick around with a woman who has many emotions and who has pcos/ and can't give them a child!...He never gives up on me...i know some days i have been very hard on him..but hes all i have to lean on sometimes...My mom and sisters have enough to deal with...and i know leo does to....but he somehow makes everything better...even if its a simple text, hug, or making me a hot cup of tea..Even on my worst days he will do something to bring a little smirk to my face...(((Thank you Leo for everything))) <<Our dreams of becoming parents will come true someday, hopefully sooner then later>>

Tomorrow is my ultrasound to see how my body is doing and if i have any released eggs and if any are mature..with my numbers being so high im hoping they are doing great...and we have some that are mature or pretty close to mature! We are on our 2nd Gonal f pen...have a little over 800 units left on it...so lets hope its enough to make it threw this round of fertility treatment!!!! We do have to buy our other medication this week around 140$ worth..ughh stressful... wish money grew on trees...but then we would be all gready people and take everything for granite in life...I am very happy with everything i have...I know i complain but im only human!!

Well that's it for the night!!!!!!!
